On this site, you will find information about your Councillors and the meetings they attend. There is information about what the Town Council can and cannot legally do.


Following the uncontested local elections held on Thursday, 2nd May 2019, two vacancies exist on the Bromyard and Winslow Town Council West ward.

The Town Council will fill these vacancies by co-option at an Extraordinary meeting on Monday 25th June at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber in Rowberry Street.

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, and

  • A British citizen, an eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of any other member state of the European Union

You must also meet at least one of the following four qualifications:

  • Be registered as a local government elector for the parish, or
  • Occupied as owner or tenant any land or other premises in the parish area for the last 12 months, or
  • Your main or only place of work has been in the parish area for the last 12 months, or
  • You have lived in the parish area of within three miles of it for the last 12 months.

Notice of Conclusion of Audit

As a result of an enquiry by a member of the public the Town Council’s external auditor was obliged to conduct a further review of the Town Council’s finances. The External Aiuditor concluded ‘no matters have given them any concern that relevant legislation and regulatory requirements have not been met.’ The Town Council was charged an additional £607.50 +VAT for this.

The Town Council has allocated a small pot of money for distribution to local good causes.
