Notice of Vacancy on Bromyard and Winslow Town Council (West Ward)

Following the uncontested local elections held on Thursday 2nd May 2019 a single vacancy exists on the Bromyard and Winslow Town Council (West Ward).

The Town Council will fill this vacancy by co-option at their scheduled meeting on Monday 16th September 2019 at 7.30pm in the Council Chamber in Rowberry Street.

If you would like to be considered for co-option as a councillor for the 2019-2023 term, please complete the application form Co-option Form 2019 and return by email to:

clerk@bromyardandwinslow-tc.gov.uk

by 5pm on Tuesday 10th September 2019

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, and

  •  A British citizen, an eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of any other member state of the European Union.

You must also meet at least one of the following four qualifications:

  • Be registered as a local government elector in the parish or
  • Occupied as owner or tenants any land or other premises in the parish area for the last 12 months, or
  •  Your main or only place of work has been in the parish area for the last 12 months,

Or

You have lived in the parish area or within three miles or it for the last 12 months.

The Town Council has allocated a small pot of money for distribution to local good causes.
