Town Councillor vacancies
The Council wishes to fill, by co-option, three vacancies on the Town Council.
The Council is responsible for an increasingly wide range of services which benefit the town; for instance we look after the St Peter’s closed churchyard, the town cemetery, the town’s two car parks, the Old Vicarage and Heritage Centre, some of the town’s open spaces and aspects of street cleaning.
The Council is also involved in a wide range of issues affecting the town’s future, particularly in the field of planning, and works hard to ensure that the town can have a prosperous successful future.
We warmly invite you to contribute to the Town Council’s work by becoming a Town Councillor.
