Exciting opportunity for 16-19 year olds to make their first short film in Herefordshire

Julie from  Rural Media Charity in Hereford has sent us this message:

We are keen that as many young people aged 16-19 have an opportunity to find out more about our brilliant BFI Film Academy. The Academy is an opportunity to learn about filmmaking through masterclasses and then have the chance to make a short film themselves to be screened at Borderlines Film Festival. This year’s academy runs in Oct / November predominately in half term with a few evenings and weekends – more information, a full schedule and links to the application form can be found here https://www.ruralmedia.co.uk/bfi  – the deadline to apply is Oct 3rd and I have also attached a flyer.

So spread the word amongst your parishes to young people and parents alike. We’ve attached a flyer but if you would like a hard copy sent to you for your noticeboards please do let us know.

Many thanks
