Car Parking in Bromyard

In order to help alleviate pressure on local residents and businesses while dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic, all parking charges in the Rowberry Street and Tenbury Road car parks have been suspended until further notice.

Rowberry Street Car Park HR7 4DU

Bromyard & Winslow Town Council secured the car parking space around the Council Offices in Rowberry Street for the people of Bromyard when it was put up for sale by Herefordshire County Council.

Parking is free for the first hour (but please get a ticket from the machine) and only 50p for up to 2 hours. Charges thereafter are as follows:

Up to three hours – 70p

Up to 4 hours –  £1.00

Over 4 hours – £4.00. There are no charges on a Sunday.

In addition a reserved parking area with numbered spaces can be acquired for use 24/7/365 for just £300 (£5.77 per WEEK) per year (including VAT). Fees can be paid annually or quarterly. This is an especially ideal solution for those who live out of town but have businesses in town.

Tenbury Road Car Park

From April 2016 the Town Council has also taken responsibility for the Tenbury Road Car Park from Herefordshire Council.

Here the charges are as follows:

Up to 1 hour  – 50p

Up to 2 hours – £1.00

Up to 3 hours – £1.20

Up to 4 hours – £1.30

Over 4 hours – £1.50

There are no charges on a Sunday.

There are no reserved parking spaces in the Tenbury Road Car Park but for anyone wishing to use the car park on a regular basis a season ticket can be purchased at a fee of £240 for a year ( £60 a quarter ).

To reserve a space contact the Town Clerk on 01885 482825.

Please be aware both car parks are regularly patrolled by a parking inspector.
