Temporary Closure due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)
In accordance with Government advice, we have taken the decision to put the following measures in place to limit the spread of COVID -19 (coronavirus).
• The Town Council Office is now closed to the public until further notice.
• All scheduled meetings are cancelled until further notice.
• VE Day 75 Celebrations Friday 8th – Sunday 10th May – are cancelled.
Town Council staff will be working from home and/or in the office and can be contacted via phone or email during normal opening hours 9am – 1pm Monday to Thursday, if you have any concerns.

PAY & DISPLAY CAR PARKS
In order to help alleviate pressure on local residents and businesses while dealing with the Coronavirus pandemic, all parking charges in the Rowberry Street and Tenbury Road car parks have been suspended until further notice.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that two casual vacancies have arisen in the office of Councillor in the following wards:
Bromyard East (following the resignation of Peter Andrews)
Bromyard West (following the resignation of Helen Mortiboy)
The Returning Officer of Herefordshire Council has confirmed that as no election has been called for, the Town Council may fill these vacancies by Co-option.
Applications will be considered at the Town Council meeting on Monday 23rd March 2020 at 7pm in the Council Chamber in Rowberry Street.
If you would like to be considered for co-option as a councillor for the remainder of the 2019-2023 term, please contact the Town Clerk, Karen Mitchell for an application form or download one here: Co-option form
Completed applications must be returned to the Town Clerk no later than noon on Wednesday 17th March, 2020.
To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, and
• A British citizen, an eligible Commonwealth citizen or a citizen of any other member state of the European Union.
You must also meet at least one of the following four qualifications:
• Be registered as a local government elector the parish, or
• Occupied as owner or tenants any land or other premises in the parish area for the last 12 months, or
• Your main or only place of work has been in the parish area for the last 12 months,
You have lived in the parish area of within three miles of it for the last 12 months.
