The Mayor


Cllrs Clare Davies and Cllr Roger Page the 17th Mayor of Bromyard and Winslow.

In May 2018 Councillor Roger Page was elected by the Town Council to be the Towns Mayor for the year 2018/19 thus becoming the 17th person to hold the position since the town became a Market Town Parish Council in 1986.

Councillor Page’s Biography

Councillor Page was born and raised in Smethwick in the Black Country and during his career worked in many parts of England, From Dorset to Yorkshire, East Sussex to Norfolk and a lot in between.

He moved to the Bromyard area in the mid 0`s and settled here joining the Town Council in 2011.  Councillor Page had served on two other Councils in the past, Sandwell in the West Midlands and Brighton & Hove City Council on the South Coast. Besides the Town Council he has been involved in a number of local organisations and Charities, having been Chairman of Bromyard District Chamber of Commerce and Industry and currently a trustee of the Charity shop in the Square.

Councillor Page, whose Partner could not be Consort because of his work commitments, invited Councillor Clare Davies to be the Mayoress.  Clare is very well known in and around the town.

The Mayors Charity is Kempson Players ( Bromyard Recreation Ground ) which is an organisation whose voluntary trustees look after Kempson Park
