Community Speedwatch is a national initiative in which proactive people from the local community join together with the support and supervision of the local Police Force to record details of speeding vehicles with the use of approved detection devices.

When a vehicle is found to have exceeded the speed limit a letter is send to the registered keeper, explaining the potential risks and consequences of their dangerous behaviour. For repeat offenders, they will receive a visit from the local Police, irrespective of where they live.

If you have a free couple of hours each week to dedicate to this cause and would like to volunteer, please contact Jennifer Eva at Bromyard & Winslow Town Council for more information.
